When Stewart returns from IL, is Broxton DFA’d? I think we’ve seen enough. Let Wilkerson/Santander man CF. Stewart has nothing left to prove in AAA.

I don't think so.   When Hays is promoted to the O's then Broxton may at least lose playing time.   Goes with Wilkerson/Santander over Broxton would ready hurt the defense.

I think I’d send Wilkerson down before jettisoning Broxton, though neither player has significant value.   Wilkerson isn’t really an OF and the utility spot belongs to Alberto for now.

If they trade Villar then Wilkerson moves to 2B and he is the back up CF.    Stewart can join the team and fight Smith for playing time in left.  I don't see Broxton leaving until Hays is ready to take over CF.

Broxton’s defense is good but his offense is SO bad that it more than neutralizes any benefit he brings with the glove. He doesn’t even put the ball in play. He just strikes out.

Much better overall to go with a more rounded player.

This is probably the most likely scenario. Wilkerson goes down for Stewart. We sort of need to find out what we have there. Wilkerson is insurance if we trade Villar. But really, we’d get by with Jace Peterson anyway.

Nice homerun but Broxton is a AAAA player.

Keon's next stop may be Japan, Korea, or Mexico.  Tools. But no carpenter to use them.

Game 3 today of 12 straight. Good chance they go with a 3 man bench during that time. Maybe Hays or another OF up in August.

The fact that Tanner Scott went 3 last night and didn't get sent down is interesting. Guess he's staying for awhile.

Maybe they are at a point with some of these guys they are tired of sending them up and down. Just leave them here and see what happens. Will need to make 40 man decisions after season anyway. Maybe Kline will stick as well.

Someone will go down for Bundy.
