Are we going with peak year, overall body of work, or just arbitrarily chosen favorite player? Do we have positional flexibility or only where they played?

It's amazing how many of the '97 guys are on most of the lists. Probably generational in part, but man that team was stacked. Still bums me out that we didn't win it all that year. I blame Armando but the umpiring was atrocious as well.

Well my thought process was just going by favorites for various reason. It could be based on winning culture or just key moments you remember about them as a fan. Anything that makes you feel that reason about them is fine. My wife wanted to do a favorite list but it would just be based on how hot she thought they were

I can say in reviewing these that it's been nice to see that I wasn't the only one who remembered various players after enjoying a bit of success here lately. It was cool to see BJ Ryan noted a couple of times.

Glad to see people have enjoyed and we all appreciate the different Orioles Magic cultures we grew up in.

C- Hoiles

1B-Eddie

2B-Roberts

SS-Cal

3B-Manny

OF -Devereaux, Jones, Markakis.  I'm assuming Devo can shift to left, for this exercise

SPs: Palmer, Mussina, Boddicker, McGregor, McDonald

RPs: Olson, Rhodes, Mills, BJ Ryan, Myers, Tippy

CL: Britton

Bench:  Weiters, Tejada, Belanger, Roenicke/Lowenstein, Bumbry

Yeah, it's 26 guys but Roenicke/Lowenstein count as one for me.  Brooks retired the year before I started following the team, so he didn't make the cut.

For reference’s sake, I’m a year older than OPACY. I’ll also preface this by noting that my choices are a mix of productive players and personal favorites, and perhaps a bit of both. So here goes:

C - Wieters

1B - Crush

2B - Roberts

SS - Ripken

3B - Machado

LF - Trey

CF - AJ

RF - Boomstick

DH - E. Davis

SP1 - Mussina

SP2 - Tilly

SP3 - Bundy

SP4 - Miggy

SP5 - Erickson

CL - Randall K.

SU - Britton

RP - Rhodes

RP - Koji

RP - DO’D

RP - Mills

Bench - Bordy, Andino, Webster, MelMo, Markakis

I really, really wanted Pearce to have a place on this roster, but MelMo just barely squeezed him out.

How can you list Bedard and Tillman over Cuellar when you have Palmer and McNally on your team?
