Another favorable pitching match-up: Wojo against some guy whose name sounds like a breed of small dog. Odd coincidence: the Nats starter has the same name as the Tiger pitcher we beat in Game 1 of the 2014 ALDS. Maybe they're cousins or something.

I’m curious as to why Richie Martin isn’t playing more? Are they trying to showcase Villar at SS For off-season trade value purposes? Jace Peterson has been bad on defense and he doesn’t hit, so I’m curious why he’s at second. I’m actually curious why he remains on the team at all.

All in all, this lineup is not designed to maximize quality defense.

But I’m just here for the pitching. I want Wojo to do well.

When Wojciechowski first got here, he sat in the 93-94mph range. His velocity had slipped a bit in his last two starts to 91-92. This game, he's 90-91mph. I hope it's nothing, but it slightly concerning.
