I don't understand why Davis and Trumbo are getting playing time either.  I've just stopped kinda caring about who gets playing time and who doesn't at this point in the season.

I don't mind Trumbo getting a pinch hit or occassional DH appearance. The guy went through a hell of a rehab on a very painful and difficult knee injury and can still swing the bat.
