LOL - just get old (50 and above) and move to The Villages, FL.  Every Winter they resod all of the fields - four complexes have eleven fields served by a concession/announcing booths.  We do pay an amenity fee of @$140/monthly for all of the infrastructure (softball, golf courses (over 600 holes), tennis, pickle ball, platform, volleyball, sports pools, grounds maintenance throughout, etc., etc.).  There are over 500 teams with players rated with varying abilities.  It's quite unique.

One more year and I’ll qualify.   And be able to play senior ball up here.   That place is amazing!!

Once you reach @bobmcage, you can play super senior ball, and walkers are allowed.

Yeah and my 2S doesn't have much horizontal movement any longer.    I have given up the softball dream, TBH, but my dream of shooting my age becomes closer to reality each year I age.  I have come within one stroke each of the past few years - recently shot a 77 (I'm now 76).  But we have more aged brethren here who regularly shoot their age.  One fellow recently shot a 90 at age 90!  Amazing!

I'd settle for being able to get from my car to the clubhouse when I'm 90.
