Sisco is in the majors and it wasn't due to his defensive prowess in the minors.

I suppose one could say this because Sisco actually did play catcher in MLB. And I am sure you would want to point out that certain metrics suggest he played better defense than did Pedro Severino. But if that is how we are going to judge Sisco, then I expect the ensuing claim would be that Lenn Sakata was far superior behind the plate to both of them.
