Looking at his stuff ion baseball savant, not a lot to like. Below average stuff across the board with some ability provide length. I don't see what role he would have on this team and he's out of options. I guess he's deep early starting depth for AAA.

An arm that can possibly start and maybe eat up some innings on a team with a lack of proven depth.

Elias likes starters.   Probably waived him to AAA.   He would be added to Akin. Lowther, Baumann and A Wells. in the rotation. Holt must think the can add a couple of mph to his fastball. Pitching development is what the O's are into these days.
