Good point but I still don't see what is to be gained pitching to the MLB hits leader. Not nearly as bad as the decision to bunt with two strikes. Bottom line Yanks gifted us the game.

I actually like the excitement of a runner on in extras. But you're right, can make the finish ant-climactic.
