I like Zimmerman's personality, but enough's enough.  You don't walk a .218 hitter in front of the heart of their lineup.  And then he gets behind Alonzo, and boom.  He knows that's not acceptable,  but he did it.

Well, it's early.  Maybe he settles down and gives us a chance to win.  Zimmerman's shown some good signs this season - too early to give up on him.

In Zimmerman's defense - those first two pitches to Alonzo could very easily have been called strikes.  He gets one of those two calls, it changes the at-bat and he doesn't have to groove one.  The ump really pinched Zim in that inning.
