I thought for sure Cishek had played here too.  He's played for 9 teams, but never the O's.  There were several threads in the past where the O's bullpen would have been better if we only signed Cishek.

How does the Save rule work if it gets called from here?

Vespi entered a 3-0 game and would be "the last Oriole" to pitch on the winning side.    

Even though it would be a 7-0, 6-inning final.

It was a "save situation" when he entered, so I think he would get the save.

Yes, MLB.com indicates that it was officially counted as a save for Vespi.  He did pitch a full inning after entering with a lead of no more than three runs, and he retired the last batter to come to the plate for the opposing team.

Evidently the save rule depends strictly on whether he retired the last batter to come to the plate for the opposing team, and the fact that his own team sent more batters to the plate before the game was called doesn't make a difference.

Sure, if he had blown up that inning it would have been a blown save.
