Friday, July 29: Game 100 is an early evening start in Cincinnati

This has been a pathetic offensive performance against (to be generous) second-rate pitching.

The bullpen can keep us in the game, but they haven't yet figured out a way to score runs.

Maybe our minor league hitters like McKenna, Nevin and Vavra would fare better against the marginal major leaguers in the Reds' pen. Seriously.

Can't see or hear the game, but I get a team-fatigue feeling out of it. Three tough, hard-fought series in mid-summer heat vs. AL East superiors, then no break, out on the road to humid Cincy. I bet they are drained (except for Bradish).

They do seem quite flat tonight.  Mental fatigue might be a part of it.
