Ok, just getting caught up on this thanks to being in meetings this morning.
My take: Povich is the headliner and although I have not gone and watched him yet (I'll do that tonight) all reports is that he's adding velocity and becoming a guy. A three pitch lefty with a good change can be an effective 4th/5th starter and if his velocity continues to tick up or the Orioles are able to get more out of his change, we have ourselves a future rotation piece.
Cano is a Cuban so he's a little
If I had to flip a coin for them at those deals I'd be happy with either.
But if you made me pick I'd probably take Burnes. He's younger and I prefer people that don't walk a lot of guys.
Disagree the Dodgers look small is Dave Roberts really getting uptight about this? He should worry more about his team now on the brink of elimination.
I think Manny has been out of line in the past, but this was nothing.
Let's hope it turns out better than 1999 or whatever year it was that they had 7. Though Brian Roberts turned out good. Also I would rather sign Burnes and possibly Santander if the deals don't go bonkers then have the picks. also I think Gil is fav for rookie of the year.
