Mountcastle  makes me mad.  I think the Orioles are pressing because we are making tons of insane base running mistakes in the last month.   Just tons of them.

That baserunning by Mountcastle was just unbelievable.  How do you get that far off of first base on a long foul flyball out to get thrown out almost from the wall?  Just dumb.

I know there’s not that much foul territory over there but I just don’t get how he gets doubled up there (even though he looked safe). He has no real reason to even be off the base.

Not to mention, he has to see the guy scaling the foul wall three feet in the air to catch the ball. I just don’t get it.

Wonder if Mountcastle has any options left?  Maybe we send him down to Norfolk to wake him up?

I think lots of the players are trying to do to much in the pressure of the playoff chase.   I have seen Mullins make that just as bad baserunning play a week ago.   They are pressing and it is showing up in real bad looking mistakes.
