I love the fact that pitchers are using right on right changeups more and more. Used to be an unwritten rule that you didn't use that pitch right on right or left on left, but I never understood why.

He's an All-Star. He's not backing anyone up. This guy can just flat out hit.

I wonder if anyone is playing close to the bag. Kirk seems to hit it right up the middle a lot. We haven't been playing him that way.

Dude is 23, putting up a 3.9 rWAR season and has an OPS+ of 136.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to pay him a LOT of money to be a backup.

I've honestly never seen jumps in velocities like we have with a few pitchers in season. It's pretty crazy. Baker's jump is pretty amazing.

Love that Kremer has given up only one bomb in last six starts. Gave up 17 in 53.67 innings last season.

Kirk is already at 4 wins. You don't get that type of player to play backup.

Doesn’t look like starting in the 3rd effected Kremer much.  I’ve been bearish on him all season, but starting to really believe in his stuff.
