There's an interesting story on MLB main page today about how Giants went from 107 wins to sub .500. The gist from three analysts was that several Giants exceeded projections last year. They are w/o Posey this year, of course. This year, the opinion is that they reverted to form. I kind of dread this may be something we have to be concerned with next year, if not already experiencing.

Yeah, he walks the guy before you so you make a swing on a pitch a foot inside. This is the difference between guys like Hays who came up with no swing decision training and the new guys. Kinda wonder what kind of hitter Hays or Mountcastle could have been.

I’ve been busy all day, but I’m on board with signing or trading for an all star quality bat under the right circumstances.

Short term contract for a slugger is worth considering if Elias is allowed to increase payroll.
