Probably crazy tin foil hat thinking, but I expect them to wait to bring him up so late that he can still qualify for rookie status next season.

In what scenario, though? The question isn't what's good for Stowers, it's what's good for the team. When we face a LHP, Hays, Santander, and McKenna are all COF options with more value right now. For DH, we have Santander and Adley, as well as Urias until recently. And as much as we hate on McCann, he has hit lefties throughout his career. We need him to catch and it probably helps him to get some DH reps.

As long as Hays and Santander are on the roster and healthy, it is going to be hard for Stowers to play his way into the lineup. The opportunities that are there for him are more a reflection of team need than what's good for Stowers.

It's more is he a better option than Frazier or McCann, especially now with Urias on the IL. There's obviously pressure. Cowser is baked and ready to go. 

Here we go with the Jesus Aguilar is taking at bats from Stowers. To review Jesus Aguilar plays first base, Frazier plays second base and Mcann is a backup catcher, Stowers does none of that.

Every loss in May is just as important as a loss in Sept.  The future to a large extent is now.    We should not be  as slow to make moves as we were in the days when we were just playing out the schedule all those years.  Will some moves under that situation be deemed to be premature and therefore not the best.  Of course, but we have waited years for this kind of a team, so let us have no regrets about not feeding it what it needs to win as many games as  reasonably possible.

Trouble with that is you already have Adley and Santander in front of him. Against RHP what bat do you like better Adley Or Santander  Or Stowers and you could bring Gunner into the mix. against LHP maybe not so much Adley but definitely Santander You would put Stowers at DH above Santander, Urias or Mcann, not many managers would. With Urias hurt it will open some things up but not much. Point being there's nothing wrong with being an apologist for Stowers many of us  are because he's an Oriole There was part of this post earlier that debated was he a fringe prospect or a legitimate prospect the answer right now is he's fringe prospect and or org depth He is not going to get more ABS un til he takes better opportunity of what is presented to him

Cowser would also be a premium defender in RF.  Our OF defense numbers aren't so great this year.  I think Stowers is getting leap frogged here.

I would tend to agree. 

Best case scenario is he gets AB's prior to the Cowser super 2 deadline, kills it, and sort of puts the org in a position to construct a deal for starting pitching.

But that’s the point. Santander is playing way too much OF. He should only be the DH (since it seems that he can’t play first)

All those other guys you named are taking up spots and those spots take away from others.

Saying those guys don’t impact Stowers is factually wrong. They all impact him.

Your post started with DH Now its Santander should be DH only How does Stowers get ABs at Dh if Santander is there everyday So  now the model is give Stowers every day reps in RF Good luck with that. All those other guys. Guys like Adley, Gunner, Urias and Mcann you might want to look them up
