Inherited runners scored (not counting today), Keegan Akin is the 12th worst in all of the AL. In 36 games, he’s allowed 21 inherited runners to score. That is abysmal. And now it’ll be 24 in 37 games. That’ll bump him to 9th worst. Cano hasn’t been great, either. He’s allowed 27 in 41 games. -
Right. They need to line up contracts with their next contention window. -

My point is I’m not getting Akin up period. Not in a tie game. You have other arms available. I’d sooner just leave Baker in. He’s thrown over 30 a few times already this year. Akin is that much of a liability. -
Mark my words, the athletics don’t want anybody who is ready now. They want good solid prospects at A or AA that can debut in 2026, and because prospects that far away are very risky, they want a lot of them. so no, they will not trade Miller for Kjerstad, et al. -
I’m sure this is already been covered, but I wanna avoid scrolling back through 184 pages. Jim Heyman says in his latest, “the Orioles got a call on Crochet.” That’s very vague wording. Does anybody know whether that means that Mike was called about Crochet or Mike made the call about Crochet?
