His next start could be against John Means or Grayson Rodriguez Sunday.

Id take Texas too but they have a dangerous lineup and the one thing I wouldn’t like against Texas is our pen vs their lineup in high leverage situations. I think that’s a battle we stand to lose. I like our lineup against their bullpen in high leverage situations.. their BP reminds me of Detroit’s in 2014 Edited October 3, 2023 by tntoriole

That lineup could just outscore us.
tntoriole
Just over 19,000 fans at Trop. Lowest nonCovid postseason crowd since 1919

Just Regular
Curious to see how the Rays come at deployment of Eflin and their A relievers down 0-1. They'll be keen not to lose without using their best pitchers Stephenson and Fairbanks. I'm skeptical if the Rangers have any other pitchers that can hold them down, but anything can happen any given day.
Moose Milligan
Enjoyed seeing Tampa lose and make 4 errors. Happy to see the Jays looking like the wet toilet paper that they are.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
Billy F-Face3
Texas won the 1st game so now I hope Tampa Bay wins the 2nd game.

But if Tampa wins, I’m flying there so I guess I’m covered either way. The Rangers winning keeps a few $$ in my bank account lol. I thought about doing that too, but I think if we end up playing Tampa I'll use the refund towards potential ALCS games against Houston (and really splurge).

Going Underground
Saw the attendance in Tampa Bay today is 19,704. Excluding 2020, this is the first playoff game in MLB with less than 20,000 attendees since Game 7 of the 1919(!!!) World Series. Yes, the last playoff game with less fans in attendance had Shoeless Joe Jackson playing in it
