I have to imagine if Peter was against it then John will be as well.  This is a team that had the 29th ranked payroll this year and he has warned the fanbase repeatedly that we should not expect to run with the big dogs and if we were to spend much more we would have to seriously increase ticket prices.

I believe that is certainly true. I will be surprised if the organization gets involved with any international free agents outside of the J1 classes because I don’t think such international free agents align with the MO of JA.

I went back to the website today.

it says to check it for updates.

No updates since 15 Oct 2021.

Not sure what Covid has to do with that.

I do think he's a serious talent.

Given that he is 25 and also was better than Senga in Japan and 5 years younger, I assume with further research you would agree.

It updates for me!  It just says we are not allowed to share any of that information with you. Something about a can of corn lasts longer if it is kept in the dark. I don’t know. Looks like it’s progressing nicely though. Maybe they can generate someone to play SS when Holliday joins Gunnar and Adley in the Bronx.

My guess is they’ll wait until the day  they move in, then do it with much fanfare.  

Meanwhile, I do feel that the international operation has been making some significant strides.  Hopefully the new facility can add to the momentum and be a good recruiting tool as well as a training ground.
