MLB.com is listing Blake Hunt on the 40 man roster, so then I guess there isn't an open spot for Povich currently.

Of course you can disagree with things he does but at least give him the credit for making the decision that he thinks is best.   Instead of just assuming that any move you don't agree with means he is an idiot or is not trying to win, maybe at least try to analyze why he is doing something.

He has shown a clear pattern with prospects of keeping them down longer than most people around here felt he should.   Dating back to Mountcastle, and Rutschman, and Henderson, and Cowser, and Stowers, and Holliday, Mayo, and Kjerstad.   Sure, we can disagree with it, but clearly it is part of his plan that he wants guys to get a certain amount of AAA experience.   And now he's doing it with Povich.   I'm sure it will happen with the next guy doing well in Norfolk that we all want to see come up.

Absolutely nothing wrong with disagreeing with it, but at least be like @Can_of_cornand make an intelligent argument.   Recognize that Elias does this with all our top prospects, and argue that he is wrong, prospects CAN learn and develop at the big league level and don't need X number of AAA ABs/IPs.   That's a good discussion to have.  Just saying he must be doing it because he doesn't want to win is just lazy.
