Position players don't usually decline and none of them are on the IL as far as I know.  It's looking pretty unlikely that he'll make it

Don’t see Westburg getting there, but I’d think that the Kyle Tucker spot might open up a space for Santander at least.

I certainly hope they don't need to psych themselves up over something like that.

I like to think that just getting swept out of the playoffs last season would be all the extra motivation they need.
