Both guys are only 21 years old. Cahill is actually opening the season as the #2 starter.

Cahill has only pitched 37 innings in AA, and Anderson has only pitched 31.

I agree with A's here, let their cavalry pitch and see what happens.

That was solidified Wednesday, when Manager Bob Geren finally revealed his rotation: Dallas Braden, 25; Trevor Cahill, 21; Dana Eveland, 25; Brett Anderson, 21; and Josh Outman, 24.

The A's traded for Holliday, signed Nomar, Giambi and Orlando Cabrera. They want to win now.
