Agreed completely Tony.  Gets two strikes and starts throwing meatballs over the plate that get hit hard.

Yankees and Red Sox both brought the bats tonight.  (As did the Orioles in the first game).   30 runs so far by the top 3 AL East teams.

Seems to be a problem you see with a lot of young pitchers, to be fair, no? Grayson had the same issue. 

Povich had a tough first inning but velocity wise that looks the best his fastball has been so far.

I'm seeing guys calling fly balls a lot more emphatically in the last couple of games.  I'm sure that has been a topic of conversation in the club house

Povich's issues with commanding pitches in the minors are a lot more pronounced than Grayson's.
