Yea it’s not even close he’s hitting 97 on occasion, dotting the corners, etc.  has hung a few breaking pitches but of course they didn’t do anything with them.

For those who don't think that a manager/coaching can make a difference....look at the Guardians first year manager Vogt.

He has taken a team that was sub .500 last year and as a first year coach has them playing with the best record in baseball.  Fundamentally sound baseball.  Night and day compared to how the Os are playing.

I go back to Buck or Davey Johnson or all the way back to Earl.    Managers make a difference. 

Hyde is not it.

He's had good K rates in the minors.  It's been the walk rate that has held him back.  Hasn't done so yet today unfortunately.
