0-2 against a terrible hitter and you give him something decent to make contact with? Just wipe out something low and outside and Rizzo will miss it every time. Or go high and in.

1 double is not a bad job though.  He got 2 pop ups for outs and let up a hit on a infield chopper perfectly placed.  Most of the time that kind of weak contact = 0 runs.  Should he have made a better pitch against Rizzo, yes.  But I wouldn't call his pitching brutal.

I will say this though, we do need more strike out arms in the pen and I don't feel great about the pen going into the playoffs.

That depends on whether the runner had taken a turn to second, and I guess he hadn’t yet, so there was no force?

oh gosh, here comes Soto and three straight home runs….

For there to be a force out, the base behind the runner has to be occupied. Another runner has to be advancing to first base for there to be a force at second.

Huh?   There is no force at 2nd wihen it's the batter.

If the runner takes a turn at first he’s committed to second, right? I remember at least one game this season where whether the runner had take the turn was a big question on a play.

Yeah I meant RF.   Sorry, went dyslexic for a moment.   It was to RF but it cleared the short porch by about 40 rows

YES was sufficiently impressed.

Good number of Yankee fans thought the Judge flyball was going out.
