But, we have a good offensive philosophy.  So we could always make no changes and just assume things will work out better next year.  We seem more comfortable with the "minimal or no changes" approach to things anyway.

Except we have to acknowledge how many of his coaches leave to become head coaches and/or coordinators in other organizations.

I agree, particularly with regard to the comments about how he should be handed the job without any interviews or how he would become the “manager-in-waiting”.

He might very well be far and away the best candidate, but as a fan it’s hard to evaluate that because so much of what manager or coach does is behind the scenes.

He’s probably the favorite.  However, the FO could decide that Quentin Berry, Matt Tuiasosopo, Clayton McCullough, Kai Correa, Mark Budzinski, David Bell, or David Ross is the better option.
