Yeah... That is the one case where you basically have no option but to go through Navarro IMO. But these guys don't want to risk getting hurt... not worth it for them even if its good for the team.

Yeah, this is one of the few times I wouldn't curse BGE if the power were to go out. I think i would be much better off.

No matter what, you don't send him there, 0 outs with a man on 2nd with a base hit. Let alone the fact he didn't have a good jump and you are running on a good arm. That is one of the dumbest calls by a 3rd base coach I have ever witnessed. I really did not like Juan Samuel the first year, I thought he was the dumbest 3rd base coach in the league. However, he seemed as he coached more, I warmed up to him. Now, that is just terrible, and here we go with Samuel again.

Its sad. I really hate devoting 90% of the in game threads to baserunning blunders, but O's continually justify the criticism...

Very good at bat by Pie to earn the walk. Bases loaded with no outs would be much nicer though.
