    • Another very good outing for Weston today: 4.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K’s.   The only run charged to Weston came after he was removed with two outs in his fifth inning of work with a runner on 1B via a walk.  Reliever Nick Richmond came in and promptly allowed a two-run homer, with the first run charged to Weston.  What a shame.  Anyway, Weston got the win and his Bowie ERA stands at 1.80, with an 0.87 WHIP and 12.6 K/9 in four appearances.  The promotion to AA hadn’t fazed him in the slightest.
    • looking over the list, its amazing how great the Orioles defense was for those 70s teams.
    • Yes, that’s true and they are the only team ever to have won so many, I was looking for teams that had four winners. The orioles had four at least twice: Brooks, Blair, Belanger and Davy Johnson. Three is reasonably common, the orioles had three frequently: Markakis,  JJ, and AJ most recently in 2014.
    • LFG. May soon be top10 prospect in rankings.
    • This. When I saw Bradfield in spring training, he was playing CF like Blair…shallow positioning and range for days, had no trouble racing backwards to catch warning track shots with ease.
