Very, very exciting. I was just getting ready to move to Richmond. Too bad I didn't make it a month earlier.

Again, VCU completely outplays a power conference opponent. This time, arguably the best team in the country entering the tourny. I'll be rooting for them the rest of the way.

I love college basketball. VCU!!!!!!! The team I always root against is in the Final 4. This is awesome. CAA!!!!!!!!!!! 2 CAA teams in the Final 4 in the span of 5 years.

Two very odd occurrences:

A. Since the play-in game was instituted in 1993, VCU is the first team ever to have been in one of them and gone on to win a single game beyond the play-in game itself. VCU has won FIVE games, and made it all the way to the Final Four so far.

B. While VCU has certainly proved that they belong in the tournament and are very capable of competing against all of the other teams, the fact is that they probably didn't deserve to make the tournament in the first place. Outside of VCU students and faculty, VCU alums, and VCU fans, I don't know of anyone that said that they belonged in the tournament when it was announced that they had gotten in as one of the last two at-large teams (along with USC).

Everyone keeps bringing up VTech and Colorado as teams that should have made it before VCU. How about Clemson, 0, count them 0 wins against the top 50. UAB only 1 win against the top 50. So if VTech and Colorado deserved to be in then it should have been before Clemson and UAB, not VCU.

Not true to nobody having VCU in as well, Fox Sports and a couple other sites had them in but who cares about that. Some of these projected NCAA teams for the most of the season had rpi’s in the mid 80’s with strength of schedules in the mid 150’s.

Guys, I am in shock! I can't even put into words what I am feeling right now. This run has been simply amazing! GO RAMS GO!!!

Recent VCU graduate and current Richmond resident, the city is absolutely buzzing. Never experienced anything like this before.

What a day, what a day. Go Rams GO! Maybe my favorite day in this filthy town, and I've had some good days before. Final 4!! And we got a shot at the whole enchilada. The whole thing.

A great run ends. The VCU dream ends, but the Butler dream continues.

Even though VCU lost, I can't say I remember a time when I was more proud to be a VCU fan. What a run this has been, something I'll always remember.

Butler was just too tough. They're great defensively and were making shot after shot. We had troubles with some free throws and rebounding, and that hurt. But that's been the Achilles heel of this team all season.

Congrats to Butler, and I will be cheering for them against UConn. Hoping a mid-major brings home a title this year!
