I just think hes in a slump and is mentally down, not seeming to give much effort. He should be trying to work the count so he at least can get on base or raise Hernandez' pitch count. I think a day off with be a good thing.

Tillman doesn't look as good out of the stretch. Hopefully he doesn't have to work out of it too often.

That's the worst thing I've seen. Swinging at a lot of first pitches. Needs to drive up the pitch count and also so he sees more pitches.

In fairness, Tillman usually pitches pretty well against teams that can't hit.
