The best way to ger rid of those chants......go to the playoffs while the Sox sit at home.

Of course...but, that's more on the front office to put a playoff-contending team on the field. This team, as constructed, had virtually no chance to go to the playoffs...so, if they can't win the war, they can at least celebrate the smaller battles won.

This is a good point and better yet, consider what the celebration would have been like if Tampa had lost before the Red sox won against us. They would be celebrating like crazy over their clinching the play-off spot...on our field....OUR FIELD. No way our celebration was bad form, no way.
