Allegedly, this article says the Rangers have offered 6/48 and Darvish wants 5/100. The Rangers need Darvish but 5/100 would bring their total outlay to an average of 30M per year. I'm sure his demand is just an opening bargaining position but it is also ridiculously unrealistic.
