You can't send Snyder there. Never send a catcher on a first to home, it just doesn't work.

I used to think someone could do it but after the park being over 20 years old now, I don't think so anymore. But I like the fact that we've got a good candidate to do it

Using that home run tracker it looks like there was one ball last year that Miguel Cabrera hit that went 451 feet - if he had did it right down the 1B line, I *think* it woulda hit the warehouse. But none of CD's that I've found so far have had quite the necessary distance - but he's getting there

Those last 50 feet it look like he was running in quick sand. It was a good send with the 2b getting it same time he hit 3rd but he clearly ran out of gas.

Me neither, for two reasons: one, if the throw is off by a few feet or slow, he woulda been safe. Two, it gave us a chance to time Snyder from first to home in game conditions, which I think could be valuable information if he sticks as back-up catcher.
