.725 -.749 would be the safe bet, but I'm taking .750-.774 because he certainly is capable if he puts his mind to it, and with FA, it's time he puts his mind to it.

I'm thinking he'll have a bounceback year and get back to his 2011-12 form. He still put up his typical HR and RBI numbers last year. If he can focus on improving his BA/OBP against righties I think he'll be fine.

Although I think Buck should definitely try to reduce his load. He has been in the league four years and ranked 2nd, 2nd, 1st, and 1st in innings caught per year. I would definitely try to reduce his load to see if that helps his offense.

Oops, I meant defensive games as catcher, not innings caught. I didn't look up his innings total but assume it mirrors games caught.

Considering he is a career .739 OPS guy that is what he could bounce back to. Pretty safe bet considering he is smack in the middle of his prime, coming off .704 last year.

Wieters ran into a large number of shifts last year and he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to change his swing around to start hitting the ball the other way. Most likely we see more of the same.

I've given up on Wieters becoming an impact bat, but I think there are some indicators that suggest some progress in 2014. I'd peg the over/under around .750. I'll take the over because why not.

Guys have bad years in their primes. It happens.

He is closer to a .750 guy than he is to a .700 guy. Look at previous 2 years in 2011 and 2012, after a few years in majors getting his feet wet.
