Oh, I agree, which just underscores that it's silly to freak out over a couple starts when you have a 5 game lead in the division with less than 50 to play. The O's can afford to roll the dice here. Just relax and see if the bet pays off.

Why would you ignore what you are currently seeing with your own eyes though?

The velocity isn't going to magically go up and the control, while it may slightly improve, still isn't going to be nearly as good as someone like Gonzalez and what he could give this team.

I don't see nearly the upside in jiminez some of you guys do. He's not pitching in Cleveland anymore, walks kill you in Camden yards and that isn't going to stop happening.
