I think it's worse unless Miley, Buchholz and Masterson all have bounce-back seasons.

I like our starters more. I think if these guys can straighten out, their rotation will be equivalent to ours. That's a big IF, but it's definitely possible.

That 5 man rotation totaled 1.8 rWAR last year combined.

Tillman, Chen, Norris, Gonzalez and Gausman totaled 9.2 rWAR.

Yup, in which case I think Boston inks Shields and bumps Buchholz to the pen with Workman.

Big difference...didn't know that. I think they do have the potential to match our rotation...but I'd still take our guys.
