That's easy for you to say. When you throw a perfect pitch and get screwed, what do you throw next? Some pitchers adjust better than others to bad calls. IMO, of the "six" starters the O's have, Kremer has the hardest time adjusting to the umps strike zone if it doesn't fit into his game. If Kremer doesn't get the legit low, strike he's not going to have a good night. Kremer has to improve in that area. -
I have noticed several data entry errors on OAA. Plays that never show up, and plays that are miscoded. That alone causes me to take it with a grain of salt. But as I said, I look at Rdrs, Rtot, UZR and OAA. If it’s 3 against 1, I tend to believe the 3 even if OAA is the outlier. -
Burnes agent is CAA sports so I dont know about their past history on having a top-of-the-line Free Agent like Burnes will be. If it were Boras, I'd fully expect him to try and beat Cole's contract in yearly average. CAA might have a different approach but then I kind of doubt it. Boras screwed the pooch last year with Montgomery and Snell, costing them both possibly up to $100-150m each. Sometimes his unreasonable strategy pays off, but last year it backfired in a very costly way. -
Yeah I don’t care if you need six strikes, you can’t give up a homer to a guy with an OPS In the 300s or whatever it was. Pathetic call and equally pathetic pitch to follow. -
What if Adley wants an 8-10 year deal but Gunnar wants a 13-15 year deal? That’s probably the reality.
