In a sign that baseball continues to be a regional phenomenon, from Cincinnati to Seattle, Boston to Tampa Bay, Baltimore to St. Louis, and more, it was regular season baseball games that crushed all comers in their respective markets over the NBA and NHL playoffs, as well as the nationally televised MLB game on ESPN.

I think the Bullets were just eliminated because when I went to the Blue Crabs game on Friday someone insisted on putting their playoff game on the TV in the Legends Club instead of the Orioles. I looked up at some point and people on TV were sad. I still don't know any NBA fans. From my friends and acquaintances (limited though that set of people may be) the NBA ranks well behind football, baseball, NCAA football and basketball, MLS soccer, EPL soccer, several other flavors of soccer, NASCAR, hockey, and poker (which isn't even remotely a sport).
