Right, and our AA coaches have as good of a sense as anyone whether he'll be valuable. Certainly a better sense than any of us, BA, BP, etc. I'm not arguing that I'd rather have Givens than Price. I'm saying there are lazy ways to consider value exchanged in these deals and I don't think we should dismiss the possibility that Givens is actually highly coveted by the O's brass.

That all being said...you're right. It's highly unlikely that he should be mentioned in the same breath as Gausman, Machado or even Schoop.
