Already did. Makes no sense with Paraedes not hitting lefties. Love Hardy but that was bad baseball.

So, we had a stupid pitch call in the top of the first-inning, and a stupid decision to bunt in the bottom of the second inning. Orioles are two for two in stupid today.

I think our strategy in this game (and any game against the Tigers this year) should be keep it close (if we can't tie it or take the lead) and get to their awful bullpen as quickly as possible.

You don't do that by bunting.

I know I am on record as saying driving up pitch counts isn't a valid strategy in today's game. Well an exception is Detroit with their woeful bullpen.

I think that might have been the dumbest play Hardy has made in 5 seasons here.

Paredes is not a good hitter from right side and he is over agressive, can't be surprised by what he did.

I understand the bunt if it's later or closer so I don't totally hate small ball. I'd ask JJ post game if I could.

That's certainly debatable. But if you're going to do it, do it right. I'm pissed Hardy made such a piss-poor effort at it.
