I don't care. As long as they spend it wisely. As I've said on many a thread, I don't buy the "poverty/we're only a mid-market team" line at all. Angelos has plenty of money to spend. He could buy an elite starter or an elite bat (Davis? somebody else?) and still have plenty more money to spend if he wants to.

It ended up being about 9 million we wasted. I think most teams had far more dead money.

My thoughts exactly. That strong dollar doesn't equate to MLB.
