Offseason Rumors and Deals Around MLB

Heyman says three teams in on Kazmir around $12-13MM/year for three years. Possible that 4th years seals it.

Do you offer Kazmir 4/$50MM? Seems like a good value relative to the market.

I would be very pleased with a Davis, Kazmir, O'Day, Kim, Trumbo, Wieters offseason. They were always going to need bounce-backs from Tillman and Gonzo.

6 WAR last two seasons. Even if you only get that out of four, it appears to be the value.

He's delusional if he thinks a Tim will extend him at 34. This probably works out better for nats as his salary vice age is not something that generally works out and it's even worse when you factor in that you are giving up assets.

The Nats did it with Paps...

He's a pitcher so a little bit different but still doesn't justify it, extremely dumb move by Rizzo especially since papelbon is perceived as a bad dude. It's astonishing that he even traded for a low character guy like that.
