Wow, that sounded like it was fun. We just bought a dumb grill and had a dumb cookout and watched it on dumb HD. And I didn't lose my voice or anything!

Questions -

• Was there ever a final headcount for Hangouters? Looks like there was a good turn out.
  
• How was Edgar's? Work out well? Will that be the future meeting place?
  
• How was the Black'n'Orange to Pinstripe ratio?
  
• Didja know I heard a rumor that Bobmc will be at the next Hangout night??

Things I learned tonight:

1) Everyone wants to talk to weams.

2) Never tell Scott Hoffman to shut up, especially from a few rows behind him.

3) Never was a name so wrong than SilentJames.

4) Tony has good reasons for getting James to games.

5) I'll get punched if I ever pull the "hold my nose" gag if caught on Kiss-Cam

I learned that double-fisting Bud Lights all night is not a good idea when you have two kids that wake up at 6AM to play with Tickle Me Elmo.

Haha, I coulda told you that, and my kid ain't even born yet.

I also learned that tugging at your I Heart NY shirt constantly is somehow a "cure-all" when 20 rabid OH'ers are yelling Yankees Suck right in your face.

What a game though. It is on my top five of all time. There's nothing that warms the cockles of my heart more than keeping all those Yankees fans SHUT UP for nine straight innings. By the way section 64 was pathetic...full of Yanks fans. But we were louder.

Great game! Very nice meeting the "new" Hangout night folk, like Wedge and Mrs. Wedge, TheRick, Bmoreboy, Avencill, McLovin and I'm sure some others. CKD - glad you enjoyed the game. Next time introduce yourself so we all get to know you!

Always fun catching up with the regulars.

And it's ALWAYS fun watching Yankee fans mope their way out of the stadium.

I learned that no matter how careful you are, putting mustard on your soft pretzel can be dangerous. (At least it didn't end up on the jersey!)

Anyway fun times. Looking forward to the next one.

Every time we do this, I come back to the relevant thread and proclaim these to be the greatest Orioles fans around, and every time somebody else says, "It sounds like fun. I'm coming to the next one!" And with every event, our nucleus gets bigger and bigger.

Once again, Mrs. Baseball and I had a great time with you guys. There are no other people in the world I'd rather share my Orioles baseball experience with than you. You guys have spoiled me...I enjoy going to O's games, but at non-Hangout nights I often find myself longing for section 384 where SilentJames continues to prove his handle an oxymoron, where Wedge has become the Lincoln Hawk of ballpark photography, where I can find Weams and JustD ready to high-five, and most importantly, where I can continue to watch this Hangout family to grow...in more ways than one Wedge and Witchy!
