On pace for 42 dingers. At this time last year, Crush was hitting .229/.319/.467 with 13 HR, compared to this year's .228/.350/.498 with 16 HR.

Better. But he still is dependent on a real hot streak to justify his salary. In year one.

He always been, and always will be, a streaky hitter. Per fangraphs, he's on pace to be worth $33 mm this year. That'll do in year one, though I'm hoping he'll get hot and be worth more.

Most hitters are streaky, unless they are named Ted Williams or Tony Gwyn.
