If we keep up this pace and are buyers at the deadline to supplement this team for a playoff run, what are our chips? What do we have that will have value for another team, that we might be willing to trade to make us a better team for this season?

Hopefully they steer clear of trades at the deadline. The farm system is really light, so any trade would be minimal at improving the major league club.

You can trade him today. The other team can not send him down. In July, a team only needs to protect him through August. September expansion takes care of the rest.

The bigger question should be what will this team need. If Hardy comes back the only position I see the team needing is a lefty reliever unles Brian gets going. Sure starting pitching but with the prospects we have I don't see getting much of an upgrade.
