I won't argue that one bit. Just reporting what I was told.

And I was glad to hear it — better than the alternative!

This team (at least, it’s fan base) deserves to have a few breaks go it’s way.    Maybe Harvey can still be a guy.    But I refuse to get my hopes up at this point.

Honestly, I'd move him to the pen for a year and use him as a 2-3 inning guy in the minors every couple games and see if you can keep him healthy. Plus, not sure with his delivery that the pen is not a better place for him long term anyways.

I was told yesterday that Hunter Harvey is considered healthy at this point and has passed all tests and is pain free. He will begin the same throwing program as all Orioles pitchers, starting in December and is expected to be a full go this spring.

I know this is a BIG IF, but if Harvey is actually healthy this year, how many innings could he reasonably be expected to pitch? Is he a guy if healthy and effective that could be in Baltimore later in the summer?

In only his 2nd outing ever, this wound up being Harvey's 1st career W ........ it's a good thing that he pitches for a team like the Orioles, or he might be waiting forever for one of those.

Ok would someone who knows the subject provide a comparison of Harvey and Josh Hader?

they throw hard strikes and have great hair, yes but I’m hoping for something a bit more in-depth.

I'll take a crack .....Harvey has a 97mph + fastball that's deemed plus and a plus curveball and Hader.

Hader has a low 90s fastball with a lot of movement. The reason he's been so successful is that his slider drastically improved from 2017 to 2018 in regards to his control.
