I gotta leave the updates to you.  I had the kiss of death last night.  Talk up Sedlock and he gives up a run.  Talk up Ynoa and he's out the game that same inning.

It used to be pretty fun when we had a bunch of pitching prospects when we'd have more people follow the outings here.

5 shutout innings, and then he ran into trouble in the 6th.

Only one of the 2 runs charged to him was earned

He did have 4 Walks, and a sub-par Strikes-to-Balls ratio.

15 OUTS: 7 Groundouts (Including 1 Double Play)3 Strikeouts, 2 Flyouts, 2 Lineouts

I remember over the winter when people were suggesting Sedlock might be on the major league roster by September.     That never was a realistic expectation, but it's very disappointing that he's not even holding his own at Frederick.

If you look at his starts, he tends to fall apart in the 4th/5th inning.  I read a baseball prospectus scouting report from this season on Sedlock where they were very positive on him but did note that he lost his stuff as the game progressed and started to get knocked around.
