BBref has him at 0.7 WAR in only 13 IP. Seems like the pen is getting back in order with Hunter and Hart stepping up. Hopefully we can get O'day back this year.

9th: Britton

8th: O'day

7th: Brach

6th: Givens, Hart, Hunter

Yes, things are looking up. Hart is 6-8 inning, the situational "face one lefty" guy. Reminds me of Jesse Orosko a little bit.

Agreed. Hunter and Hart have been very pleasant surprises! Can't wait to get back a healthy(hopefully) O'Day!

The solo home run that Hart gave up to Hanley Ramirez tonight was the first earned run that he has ceded as a Major League pitcher in 19 outings overall (16.33 innings pitched.)

So Buck brings in Hart to face Ortiz *this* time, but not in place of Gausman in a similar situation.

And sometimes Buck needs to realize LOOGYs are LOOGYs are for a reason and stop pressing the damn envelope. I don't care if it's a good pitch.

This says everything: .316/.409/.316 - .725 OPS. Yes, the slugging might be down. But the average and the OBP are trending in a situation where he was going to allow homers at some point.
