Completely torn Flexor Tendon. Also.

I'm pretty sure Coffey had the tendon repaired/replaced during his second TJ. Zack Wheeler had both done but it was his first TJ. I read somewhere that the tendon surgery had a lower success rate than TJ. I don't remember where so it may not be true.

Another example of why I couldn't be a processional athlete. No way would I go back to pitching after sustaining an injury like that.

I'm taking my 10 million and going home.

Obvious non-tender at this point being a FA in 2018.

They are responsible for his entire rehab. as long as he chooses to.

Absolutely awful. Godspeed to the young man for a speedy and robust recovery, or at least the use of his freaking arm.

Yea, normally TJ is an optional surgery if you don't throw baseballs/javelins for a living. This certainly sounds like surgery will be needed just to regain proper quality of life.
