Yes, I was very nervous it would be a broken finger or hand. The type of injury that can cause trouble the entire season even when the player returns from the injured list.

deGrom appears to be OK, after having undergone an MRI on his right elbow last week ........ he threw 7 shutout innings on 101 pitches against the Reds tonight.
